the Parcel Machine of Bpost
A crucial part of the total service of the bpostgroup are its Parcel Machines. For years, they have been the alternative for home deliveries.
They offer consumers a lot of flexibility when collecting parcels and increase the safety and reliability of the delivery. These parcel machines are fully automated, self-service units that can be used 24/7 for receiving and sending parcels. In total, there are currently more than 1,500 parcel machines spread throughout Belgium and this number continues to grow rapidly.
Bpostgroup x SST Software
SST Software has been bpost's main IT partner since 2019 for the further development, maintenance and 24/7 support of all core applications on and around its Parcel Machines. Including the control of all hardware components in the machines themselves. We are also responsible for the customer service software that shapes the daily operation. All this takes place in a very dynamic environment where time-to-market is an important aspect of the collaboration.
lockerplatform
The bpost locker platform consists of multiple applications, each with its own set of functionalities. We maintain the entire software stack and develop new functionalities every day to optimise the use of the parcel machines and to allow them to grow further. In addition, we also realise and manage the integrations with external partners, so that they can also deliver parcels to the machines every day.
The creative, problem-solving skills we find at SST continue to lead to valuable outcomes.
